TUDOKIS Association Explores Türkiye’s Ancient Heritage with a Visit to Göbeklitepe (14–19 October 2025)
As part of its ongoing cultural activities, the TUDOKIS Association organized a field visit to Göbeklitepe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest known temples in the world, located near Şanlıurfa, Türkiye.
During the visit, the delegation learned about the site’s archaeological importance and its role in reshaping our understanding of early human society, belief systems, and architectural innovation. Göbeklitepe, often referred to as the “zero point of history,” dates back over 11,000 years and offers unique insights into the Neolithic period.
The visit aimed to strengthen cultural appreciation and promote academic dialogue about the shared heritage of humanity. Members of TUDOKIS emphasized that such initiatives foster deeper understanding and cooperation in the fields of history, culture, and social research.
📸 The program also included a guided tour of the Göbeklitepe Archaeological Museum and a discussion on future cultural collaborations between Türkiye and other partner countries.
