MEDIASAFE was an Erasmus+ youth exchange project designed to address the critical mental health challenges young people face in today’s digital age. The project aimed to empower youth by promoting safe and responsible social media use.

This mobility was hosted by Darnoje NGO in Kaunas Old Town, Lithuania, and ran from May 16–26, 2025, including travel days.

6 different countries participated, bringing together 35 participants in total. 12 of these participants were youth with fewer abilities. The participating countries were: Lithuania, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Norway, and France.

Key Achievements & Content: The core goals of the project were to build new friendships, interact with new cultures, and destroy the borders between countries. We aimed to empower and educate young people about mental health, body image, and the impact of social media, while fostering resilience and facilitating intercultural understanding.
